The DM1 “Dynamite” is an active inline pre-amp (or booster) meant to sit between a passive mic (dynamic or ribbon) and your mic preamp/interface. Its job is boosting the mic signal by 28 dB cleanly, helping achieve workable levels without cranking your preamp into noise. It’s built in a slim, rugged all-metal body, uses Class-A circuitry with high-grade FETs, and has gold-plated XLRs. Great for live or studio uses where your mic’s output is weak (e.g. older ribbon mics, quiet dynamic sources).
